The Technovision AC-1 is available as an amplifier with an RS232 port allowing for computer controlled volume adjustment (comes standard with AC1VOL firmware at no extra charge). The AC-1 also has the capability to add external volume up and volume down buttons with optional firmware. It is a simple way to add digital volume control to a kiosk or interactive sound device. The AC-1 can also be used as a stand-alone controller for complete kiosk control by combining it with one of Technovision's own KEY34 keypads and customized firmware. Another popular use of the AC1 is as a synchronizer for industrial DVD players such as the Pioneer DVD-V5000 or the DV75 solidstate HD media player .
